Payment
Schedule
Payment
for each of the five periods is due
in full on the first class of that
period. Financial aid is available
for candidates for the Master’s
degree through Endicott College. EDCO
accepts MasterCard, Visa, or checks
made payable to EDCO.
Optional
Masters Degree from Endicott College
Upon entering
the program, ELI candidates may opt
for the Master’s degree in Organizational
Management, along with financial aid,
from Endicott College. Additional
fees for the Master’s degree
include a $50 application fee and
a $200 graduation fee.
Supplemental
Master’s Degree Credentials
For those accepted
ELI candidates who desire to pursue
a Master’s degree, official
copies of scores from either the Graduate
Record Examination (GRE) or the Miller
Analogies Test (MAT), taken within
the last five years, are required
by Endicott College, unless candidates
already hold a Master’s degree.
Official test results or Master’s
degree transcripts should be mailed
from the relevant institution to Mary
Broderick at EDCO (281 Winter St.;
Waltham, MA; 02451) by January 25,
2012.
Admissions
Qualifications
Recommendations from candidate’s
Principal or Director and another
professional colleague, and possession
of at least an initial license in
another educational role and completion
of three full years of employment
in a district-wide, school-based,
or other educational setting. Additionally,
candidates should verify that his/her
Principal or Director is willing to
assume the responsibility for being
their administrative mentor during
their Practicum year 2012-13.
Computer
Requirements
It is expected
candidates will be proficient in Microsoft
Word, at a minimum, and preferably
conversant with Microsoft Excel and
PowerPoint. Accepted students should
have Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint,
and Excel) on an accessible computer
and have access to a printer capable
of producing multiple-page documents.
Students should also be able to download
materials online (high-speed internet)
and check e-mail daily for updates.

Applications
will be reviewed on a rolling basis
starting November 16, 2011, and are
due no later than December 21, 2011.
Notification on admission will be
sent no later than two weeks following
the receipt of completed applications.
To be considered please submit a completed
package that includes all of the following
documents, scanned and attached to

1) The completed ELI application form.

2) One letter from your principal
or director/supervisor assessing your
potential as an educational leader.
3) A letter from one professional
reference assessing your potential
as an educational leader.
4) Personal statement explaining your
interest and readiness for educational
leadership. Include experiences and
skills you bring to this preparation
(1-2 pages).
5) Current Resume, including current
and previous professional work experience
and higher education courses and degrees.
