has 19 years of experience as
principal of Newton's Underwood
Elementary School. focused on
high achievement for all students
through the use of differential
instruction and an innovative
RTI program.

Ruth
Chapman, Faculty Instructor
and Practicum Supervisor, has
15 years of experience as Principal
of Newton's A.E. Angier School.
At the request of Newton's Superintendent,
she has successively been appointed
as Interim Principal at each
of of the Zervas, Franklin,
Bowen and Pierce Schools. For
the 2010-2011 school year, the
Superintendent has appointed
Ruth to be a coach for all new
Newton Principals.

Schools, has 40 years of experience
as a teacher, guidance counselor,
and educational administrator.

Jonas Clarke Middle School where
he is implementing a school-wide
Professional Learning Community.
He has served as Assistant to
the Superintendent, as well as
Principal of an Elementary School
in urban Los Angeles’ Hawthorne
School District. Prior to his
current position, he was Principal
of an elementary school in Lexington. |

15 years of experience as an urban
Principal. He is currently a leadership
coach and nationally recognized
educational author. For example
his 2009 book, Rethinking
Teacher Supervision and Evaluation:
How to Work Smart, Build Collaboration,
and Close the Achievement Gap,
is already a classic in the educational
leadership literature. |
